Custom placement
Our standard placements cover most hands. If yours sit somewhere between them, you can tell us exactly where you want your back buttons and we'll quote the build.
How to show us
The easiest accurate method is to mark your own fingers:
- Take a washable marker and put a dot on each finger where it naturally rests on the back of the controller.
- Hold the controller the way you play — proper grip, normal pressure. The marks transfer onto the shell.
- Photograph the back of the controller straight on, in good light, with all the marks visible.
- Open a ticket in our Discord, attach the photo, and tell us how many buttons you want and which type.
We'll read the positions off your photo, confirm what's buildable, and send you a purchase link for that exact configuration.
What you should know first
Custom placement is not exact. We work from your photo, and transferring finger marks by hand is an approximate process. Positions on the finished controller may differ from what you intended.
By choosing custom placement you accept that risk. A button that lands slightly away from where you pictured it is not a manufacturing defect, and it isn't covered by warranty or grounds for a refund.
If you want certainty, our standard placements are measured and repeatable. Most players are well served by them.
What we can and can't do
- Standard tactile buttons offer the most freedom of placement.
- Blade and rounded caps sit at fixed positions determined by how many you order.
- Mouse-click paddles are a fixed two-button configuration with no placement choice.
- We'll tell you in the ticket if what you've drawn isn't physically possible, and suggest the nearest thing that is.
Pricing
Custom placement itself costs nothing extra. You pay for the buttons you choose, at the same prices as any other build. Your quote comes as a purchase link once we've confirmed the layout.
